LONDON -- It's the second day of meteorological spring but parts of England, Scotland and Wales are experiencing some very chilly weather Wednesday.

The Met Office warns that Storm Jake, the tenth named storm so far, could bring snow, sleet and rain as well as gusts of up to 70 mph, which may cause travel disruption. While the cold snap might seem out of place in March, the Met Office says the UK gets on average 6.9 days of snow in spring.
