If you take a good, long look around, you'll see the whole world is a canvas.

Street artist OakOak can turn almost any everyday object into a work of art in his hometown of St. Etienne, France. Everything from cracked asphalt to drain pipes to broken bike racks become opportunities for something new and a little whimsical.

OakOak's makes clever visual jokes using his favorite pop culture icons, such as Pac Man stalking a line of white bales of hay or Sideshow Bob from The Simpsons with flowering tree branches for his wild hair.

OakOak has published a book of his Urban Diversion that is available for purchase. More of his work can be seen on his official website and Facebook page.
