StreetBee, an online promotional service for record labels, marketing and third party promotional companies, has acquired JamJunky for an undisclosed amount.

JamJunky is a collaborative music site that lets users share lyrics and songs. Geared towards song writers, JamJunky included a few practical tools for sharing songs and lyrics. You can read our initial review of JamJunky here. Launched earlier this year, JamJunky is rather new on the scene, and was quick to launch a Facebook application to accompany its main service. Now that it's a part of StreetBee, the site has been renamed GetYourGrooveOn, and already features a new design. The new GetYourGrooveOn is also having a promotion for an unlimited beta, meaning you can use the service for free as a beta user.

Also announcing an acquisition today is Magnitude, which has snatched up Kiwibox Media, an online social network for teens.
