These time-lapse videos are a little different from the rest.

Rob Whitworth uses a technique that he describes as "flow-motion" to transport his audience on a journey from the cockpit of an airplane landing in Dubai to the top of the Burj Khalifa, through the city streets and into its desert playland. The static time-lapse shots zoom into different subjects.

It took two weeks to storyboard the video, seven weeks to shoot and an additional seven weeks in post-production, according to Whitworth. Worth it.
