Forget the traditional thank-you note -- if you're in Suicide Squad, it's go big or go home.
The film's stars didn't just get matching tattoos,: They took things to a whole other level by actually inking each other themselves.

And no one went bigger than Margot Robbie, who gave director David Ayer a 'SKWAD' tattoo in full Harley Quinn garb.

If her Instagram post is anything to go by, eccentric spelling is not unheard of in Squad-dom. That said, if Harley's Tattoo Parler Parlour is taking appointments, sign us up.

Joel Kinnaman, who plays Rick Flagg, wasn't so lucky. He got his tattoo from Will Smith, who apparently isn't as much of a Deadshot as his character is.
"Will has many many talents, tattooing is not one of them," Kinnaman wrote in his caption. "It was like watching a drunk baby fly a helicopter."

There don't seem to be any photos of Jared Leto joining in, which is too bad -- we can only imagine the kind of tattoo the Joker would give.
Lest you forget, Leto stayed true to his Joker character by giving Margot Robbie a live rat for her birthday -- which she kept, because “if Harley got something from Joker, she’d probably cherish it.”
