In Tokyo, one Airbnb apartment has risen above the call of duty to become something special and unique — a painstakingly-furnished Super Mario paradise.

Airbnb host Parker (who goes by the username "Heart of Tokyo") has fully furnished his one-bedroom apartment with everything Super Mario. With projectile flowers, 1-ups and toadstools covering every surface, Parker's apartment is in prime Nintendo form. The creative nest is appropriately-dubbed "Mario World."

From the get-go, the apartment enchants guests with bright colors and knick knacks that all Nintendo fans will recognize and love. On his Airbnb page, Parker describes the brightly-colored abode as "geek chic without falling into a 'kids bedroom' cliché."

With a Question Block pendant lamp hanging over the couch, and a delightfully pink Princess Peach-themed bedroom, guests are kept in a constant state of whimsy.

Though Parker has purchased an impressive bevy of Mario memorabilia that is displayed throughout the home, he has made many of the tchotchkes himself. "I made a lot of the items you see by hand, and painted quite a few too," says Parker.

The "Please Select Player" key holder is a charming touch ...

... as is the Nintendo-themed kitchenware.

Even the bathroom carries the delightful theme, with a strangely-fitting Yoshi egg "about to hatch" near the toilet (because poop jokes will always be hilarious).

Parker is quick to note that the theme, though fun and eye-catching, is not a gimmick. "This is not a cheap, second-hand apartment made for cynical reasons," he states. "It's a piece of art from the heart."
