LONDON -- The sign of a good parent is someone who's willing to go the extra mile for their children.
A dad who's happy to pop on a Superman costume at short notice and go out in public during rush hour probably falls into this category.
A little girl called Phoebe from St Helens, UK, recently dressed up as Batman for her school's superhero-themed fancy dress day, BBC Radio Merseyside reports. Unfortunately, Phoebe lost her nerve at the last minute.
Enter hero dad Danny Arnold. In order to make his little girl feel more comfortable, Arnold busted out his Superman costume for the walk to school.
Arnold's actions went down well on Facebook.
Soon, others began sharing similar images.
"She was worried she'd be the only one," Arnold told the BBC. "I got my Superman costume on and said don't worry Batman and Superman are best friends."
