Laughter might be the best medicine, but superpowers could be a close second.

Bobby Lenahan, a junior at Molloy College in Long Island, New York, has devised an inventive and fun way for children in need of IV drips to receive their treatments. The student has created a line of IV bag covers that feature a slew of kid-friendly superheroes.

Each of the IV covers displays an original super hero character, equipped with their own unique set of powers. Kids can choose from ten different heroes, including 'The Golden Tide,' who has special water powers, or the 'The Steel Master,' who has handy transformative steel skin. Lenahan hopes patients who have undergone procedures such as surgeries and cancer treatment can have their day improved with an IV superhero.

"It's a simple paper sleeve," Lenahan described to New York's ABC7. "[But it] transforms the hospital room into an opportunity to get superpowers."

Hospitals suck, but at least now, some children might feel a little more powerful during their stay.
