A supermarket created an emotional Boyz II Men-style ad for tomatoes

It seems like a simple equation: Just redo a soppy but classic R&B tune for an ad and you'll definitely sell a ton of tomatoes.

That seems to be the formula for the Australian arm of supermarket chain Aldi, which created this Boyz II Men-style ad for the red savoury fruit -- yes, it was intentional. The song used doesn't seem to be an exact cover, but it sounds not too far off "I'll Make Love To You," one of the classic '90s group's biggest hits.

The ad is part of a wider campaign focused on the chain's fresh produce, including this auto-tuned winner suggesting you buy bananas for your boo. Sounds like Aldi's shelves are turning into a Valentine's Day gift guide.
