LONDON -- Karma, sooner or later, is going to get you. It's just that little bit more satisfying for onlookers when it's sooner.

A cyclist from Portsmouth in the UK got his dose instantly when he turned round to swear at a motorist and promptly fell off his bike.

Mark Algar, 37, told a disgruntled driver to "fuck off" and flipped him the traditional V sign on a ride recently, probably feeling like he'd won the encounter.

Until this happened.

With his tumble online for all to see, he had the grace to accept he deserved it, telling the Evening Standard he was at fault. "I should have signalled and I usually do, but this one time I was going at speed and just didn’t think," he said.

"Karma does come round quick and I totally hold my hands up. I found it all quite funny really."
