If you've been waiting all your life for a mix of stylish overalls and comfy onesies, the time has finally come.

David Rothstein has created Sweateralls, which are made of French terry cotton and the fantasies of fashionable homebodies.

"It all started with the simple of idea of combining the new normal –sweatpants– with an old classic that I saw making a comeback –the overall," founder David Rothstein told Mashable in an email. "The initial response when testing the concept with my network was positive, so I had a few samples made. I used these original samples to shoot a video and launch a campaign on Kickstarter. It took us only five days to reach our goal and now we're $3,000 away from doubling it."

"Most overalls are made out of denim--a durable but limited material," Rothstein wrote on his Kickstarter page. "Denim is great for heavy use, but can be uncomfortable as casual or athletic wear. What if there were a pair of overalls made of durable and lightweight materials, for a much more comfortable, versatile experience?"

The goal for Sweataralls is to bring three things to the one-piece fashion item that denim overalls don't have: versatility, flexibility and affordability.

"My top priority is getting the product right," Rothstein told us. "I want it to be of impeccable quality. I want people to share a connection with their pair of Sweateralls, similar to how people feel about their favorite pair of shoes, favorite sweatshirt or favorite spot on the couch."

Rothstein also wants to make this affordable item with social sustainability in mind. So, he's dedicated to paying fair wages to produce the locally-sourced, American-made Sweateralls.

Ethical and fashionable comfort? We'll take it.

Currently the product comes in blue, black and gray but other colors are on the horizon.
