It wouldn't quite be South by Southwest without an appearance from Snoop Dogg. This year, the 42-year-old veteran rapper will lend his star power to online travel rentals service Airbnb, which on Thursday announced it will partner with Snoop Dogg and other artists.
Airbnb also launched a nationwide Instagram contest for fans who want to win a trip to meet and party with the featured musicians -- Snoop Dogg, Capital Cities and Allen Stone -- in Austin from March 11 to 15 at pop-up venue Airbnb Park.

To enter the contest, Instagram users must submit a "welcome"-themed picture, addressed to one of the three artists, and then tag it with #AirbnbMusic and the respective artist's handle (@SnoopDogg, @capitalcities, or @allenstone).
The contest's deadline is Feb. 27. The winning entry will be displayed at the Airbnb Park, and the winner will get transportation, lodging and a meet-and-greet.
Airbnb describes the venue, a collaboration with Capitol Records and Cashmere Agency, as "an oasis amidst the craziness of SXSW, where attendees can enjoy an array of activities day and night including spa treatments, yoga, live music courtesy of emerging acts ranging from bluegrass to rock to hip hop, and specialty cooking events. [...] The centerpieces will be three kitHAUS pop-ups curated by [Snoop Dogg, Capital Cities and Allen Stone]."
