Don't get it twisted: T-Pain's signature auto-tune is no coverup for a lack of vocal talent.

T-Pain visited NPR's headquarters in Washington, D.C., on Monday for a Tiny Desk concert, proving that the hip hop artist indeed has some serious pipes.

"I know everyone's worried about where the auto-tune is gonna come from. It's OK. I got it in my pocket," he said.

He jokes, he jokes. T-Pain delivered some soulful, stripped-down versions of "Buy You a Drank," "Up Down" and "Drankin' Patna" equipped with only his voice and a piano.
