More Than 20 Intel-Based Windows 8 Tablets in the Works

PC manufacturers are racing to show their tablets at this year's Computex, with Asus and Acer being the first to launch a myriad of devices, including the enormous Asus Transformer AiO and Acer's dockable Iconia W700.

Samsung has also launched several very interesting devices, most notably the Series 5 Hybrid PC, a Windows 8 tablet with a magnetic keyboard dock.

That's not all, though -- Intel has announced at least 20 more Intel-powered Windows 8 tablets are coming this year. Windows 8 is officially coming out in late 2012, meaning that next year will be very interesting when the tablet market is concerned.

Microsoft to Retire Zune Brand

Microsoft is retiring its Zune brand in favor of the better-known XboX, the New York Times reports. Zune Music customers will still have access to their playlists through the new Xbox Music service.

Apple Reportedly Preparing a Huge Mac Overhaul at WWDC

Apple might be upgrading four out of five Mac lines at this year's WWDC, which runs from June 11 – 15 in San Francisco. The most likely culprits, reports say, are the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and the iMac, and either Mac mini or Mac Pro will get a much-needed update, too.
