NEW YORK -- In honor of the 30th anniversary of the Transformers franchise, Hasbro is releasing a 2-foot tall Tranformer figure -- the tallest ever created.
Metroplex is two feet of solid toy, towering over all the other Transformers figures. Hasbro had him on display at its Toy Fair 2013 show room in New York.
This "Titan Class" Transformer has three modes: the regular robot mode you see above, vehicle mode, and city mode. That's right, he's big enough to be a whole Autobot City playset as well, a role he also filled in the Transformers fiction.
Metroplex comes with working lights and sounds as well. The toy will retail for $124.99 when it hits store shelves this fall.
