Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard are doing a sure-to-be-glamorous holiday special

Christmas just got a little more fabulous.

Fox announced Monday that Empire stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard are getting their very own holiday special, set to air Dec. 9.

The program, titled Taraji and Terrence's White Hot Holiday, is billed as a variety special and will feature performances Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx and John Legend.

Henson and Howard are also set to duet. Hopefully, that performance will be less awkward than this:

Fox's announcement comes as Empire continues to enjoy stellar ratings, with Season 2 averaging 22.9 million viewers across multiple platforms, according to the network.

Empire's fall finale airs Dec. 2 with the second half of Season 2 set to debut March 30.
