Target's new denim line is engineered for people who hate shopping for jeans

Shopping for jeans is no easy feat. You may be a size 8 at one store and size 12 at another -- and the solution usually involves rewearing your favorite pair until it rips. Then what??

Target is trying to fix that problem with its new “The Perfect Fit for Every Body” collection, which is boasting 20 fits and 66 new washes of denim, each for $30 or less.

The assortment includes various denim styles, from rips and whiskering to mixed colors and shapes, like traditional boyfriend jeans, overalls and skirts.

The jeans are for “every body,” Target says, because of a flexible fabric called Power Stretch that forms to your body. The fabric has memory to retain the "first-day fit and feel," according to stylist Zanna Roberts Rassi, meaning they won't stretch out after repeated wear, like most jeans do.

Target has been increasing its body positive coverage lately. In June, the brand launched a swimsuit campaign with Rassi called Target Loves Every Body.
