Taylor Swift is the guardian angel of Tumblr.
The pop star used Tumblr to respond to a fan's post from Mother's Day. The fan, Kaileen, under the Tumblr username "areweintheclearyets," wrote to Swift explaining that her mother passed away last January and left her feeling "empty." She then described how Taylor helped her get through the hard moments.
Taylor penned back a sweet message, consoling Kaileen and telling her she admired and respected her. Taylor also offered up a hug and an iced coffee.
This isn't the first time Swift has interacted with fans through social media. The singer is known to reply to Tumblr posts and Instagram comments -- sometimes in the form of relationship advice -- and has even sent personally wrapped presents to her fans.
And it seems Taylor's virtual hug really pepped up Kaileen's day -- she has continued to post on Tumblr saying Taylor's message has kept her smiling since Saturday.
