Even though it feels like we've always been able to shoot video on our phones, that wasn't always the case. Back in 2009, the Kodak Zi8 was the best option for handheld video. This device had both an SD card and a USB drive for transferring video. Though it looks outdated now, at the time it was actually super cool, and pretty expensive at $180.
