The TED Conference, the annual, invite-only summit featuring 50 of the world's leaders in Technology, Entertainment and Design, is launching a revamped website today focusing on the distribution of its audio and video podcasts.

The newly designed site is featuring more than 100 full-length TED talks, including some that haven't been seen outside of the yearly Conference. Their new video player includes large-screen playback, automatic adjustment for bandwidth speed, and chapter marking for easy video navigation. Their new social networking tools enable further interaction with user profiles, comments, and favorites.

Promoting this kind of exclusive content for global sharing is an important step for any ongoing discussions and information flow - call it the YouTube-ification of the web.
