Donatello, the smarty pants of the crime-fighting turtles, shows off his weapon of choice in a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles motion poster, above. It's a high-tech bo, of course.

"Allow me to be the badass for once," Donnie, voiced by Jeremy Howard, proclaims before blocking a barrage of bullets with his bo and knocking some sense into the firing squad.

This reboot, which hits theaters Aug. 8, stars Megan Fox as intrepid reporter April O'Neil, Will Arnett as cameraman Vern Fenwick, William Fichtner as Shredder, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo and Danny Woodburn as Splinter.

The new motion posters come just one month after fans unlocked the film's second trailer and four character posters (below) in an interactive "Turtle Reveal" Twitter stunt that required them to tweet hashtags such as #TeamLeonardo associated with each shell-clad hero. (Paramount gave the Donatello one, above, exclusively to Mashable.)
