LONDON -- Tennent's has a reputation for being a fairly no-nonsense lager choice in Scotland, and it turns out they take the same philosophy when it comes to their social media management.
Tennent's Lager is made at a brewery in Glasgow. Their slogan is "Scotland's favourite pint".

Last Friday, one Twitter user got in touch with Tennent's Lager to ask them about their lack of low calorie drink options.
@TennentsLager Why do you not do a low calorie Tennent's lager? or a Tennent's lite?— onlinebookies (@bookiefighter) February 19, 2016
Tennent's response was impressively blunt.
We do, mate - it's called a half-pint. https://t.co/wiFimtcEYd— Tennent's Lager (@TennentsLager) February 19, 2016
Unsurprisingly, the reply went down well on Twitter.

@TennentsLager @Rachel_Lynchx @bookiefighter It's got half the calories so you can drink twice as much— T C (@chrisshields10) February 19, 2016
@TennentsLager @bookiefighter standard Tennents is a 20 or 24 pack. Lite is 12 or 15. Calorie free is 4 or 6.— Phil (@phil_falkirk) February 19, 2016
@TennentsLager @judeinlondon I drink half as much twice as often, yet I'm still 22 stones. Please advise.— Gil Gamesh (@OuchoSparks) February 19, 2016
All in all, this guy summed the whole thing up pretty well.
