Terry Semel Resigns as Yahoo CEO, Finally

[img src="" caption="" credit="" alt=""]In what some might consider to be an overdue move, Yahoo CEO Terry Semel is out: co-founder Jerry Yang replaces him as CEO, and Semel becomes a non-executive Chairman.

Susan Decker, former Executive Vice President and Head of Advertiser and Publisher Group, has become Yahoo's President, according to a release that naturally sidesteps Yahoo's problems of late.

Yang posts on the Yahoo blog, too, saying that "Terry has given Yahoo! six of its best years". Let the dissection begin.
