We already knew that Tesla CEO Elon Musk loves James Bond's Lotus Esprit submarine car from The Spy Who Loved Me.

After all, he bought the thing.

But apparently, he loved it enough to add a Lotus-themed Easter egg to the Tesla Model S sedan as part of a 2014 software update. Drivers can pull up a screen on the dash that makes it seem as though the car is in "submarine" mode.

To transform your car into the Lotus Esprit -- or, at least, pretend it is one -- hold down the "T" logo at the top of car screen. Enter "007" into the popup login. Hit the "suspension" tab, and voilà:

The Easter egg was first spotted by some sharp eyes on Instagram after almost a year.

Just please don't drive your Tesla Model S into any bodies of water, large or small.
