We already know things are bigger in Texas. Now, that includes the emoji.

TexMoji is a $2 keyboard app with Texas-themed emoji, meaning you can rep the Longhorns and show your love for cowboy boots in digital form. The emoji are a bit bigger than what people are used to, as they're actually images you copy from the keyboard and paste into a message.

In a smart move, the app has tried to correct one of the great emoji injustices. TexMoji includes a taco emoji, a tool of expression sorely lacking from the regular, built-in emoji. It is therefore no surprise it's sitting in the top ten highest paid apps in Apple's App Store, as of publication.

The app was created by Rich O'Toole, a country singer, and Sean Compton, a popular Texan social media figure, according to My San Antonio.

For this story, Mashable chatted via emoji with Texas resident Becca Kadison. These were the results:

TexMoji is only on iOS devices right now, but the developer has announced an Android version is on its way.
