LONDON -- The movie version of the The Office is practically finished, the Caitlyn spat seems to have finally died down, and Ricky Gervais appears to have a bit more time on his hands.

So, he does what he always does when he's bored: turns to Twitter.

On Sunday he reiterated his call for #TextLikeBrent tweets, which see followers text unsuspecting friends and family with quotes from his immortal creation David Brent and screenshot the ensuing confusion.

Gervais put the call out on Sunday morning.

The #TextLikeBrent hashtag was very quickly a goldmine of classic conversations, with users utilising some of Brent's finest moments to confuse the hell out of their contacts.

There was the Dolly Parton quote.

In addition to the word games, Gervais was also hoping to find a Valentine's companion.

He posted his best selfie in an attempt to secure a date.
