Superheroes are always sporting the latest gadgets (or, more like, the haven't-been-invented-yet gadgets), so it is reasonable to assume they each have a smartphone or two tucked away in their spandex.
While these masked men may seem pretty private, they still need some bros to kick it with on the weekend. And the best ways to communicate? Text messages, of course.
The Tumblr Texts from superheroes imagines the hilarious convos that unfold between Superman, Spider-Man and Iron Man. There are even group chats between the Justice League, sexts between Wonder Woman and her flings and, of course, some gossip-filled texts between villains like Lex Luthor and Two-Face.
The Tumblr's creators, Diana McCallum and Andrew Ivimey, told Mashable that "they combined [their] comedy powers" to create the content for the site.
"We really like jokes that pick apart aspects of the superhero genre," McCallum said. "We both read comics, and watch a lot of superhero movies and cartoons, and once we start discussing them and breaking them down, there's always something to make fun of -- a plot hole or a logic jump that you don't notice immediately -- but is glaringly obvious when you think about it."
So next time you're gallivanting around Gotham and spot Batman, see if you can score his digits. Who wouldn't want to have that number on speed dial? (If all else fails, see if he will at least Snapchat with you.)
