Australian freshman Ben Simmons is the best thing in college hoops this year, if you haven't been paying attention.

He has NBA-ready game -- and, apparently, some NBA-ready trash-talk. We've long known the former, but just learned the latter after Simmons called out none other than Drake following an upset win over perennial powerhouse Kentucky.

Before we go on, know that Drizzy is a big Kentucky fan. (He also just happens to be a fan of most powerhouse teams, it seems.) We know this because he once inflicted his broke-ass jumpshot upon the world at a Kentucky practice. We also know this from that time he was hanging out in the Kentucky locker room at the 2014 Final Four.

Anyhow! Where were we? Ah, yes: Simmons and LSU upset Kentucky on Tuesday night, dismantling the Wildcats 85-67. Simmons was hampered by foul trouble and held to a relatively modest 14 points and 10 rebounds. But he did punctuate the win by throwing down this thunderous dunk in the game's penultimate minute.

Then Simmons busted out a digital finishing move to tweak Kentucky's top celebrity fan.

On "Scholarships," a track from Drake and Future's summer mixtape collaboration, Drake raps, "I rock Kentucky blue on these hoes." (Interestingly, that mixtape, What a Time to Be Alive, just spawned another funny sports story as well.)

So after taking down the Wildcats, Simmons posted a photo of himself dunking over Kentucky, along with a twist on Drake's lyrics and an at-mention of the rapper's Instagram handle.

Add that to the scouting report. This kid is officially ready for the pros.
