Comic-Con is like a box of chocolates: you never know what you're going to get, but it's almost always sweet and sometimes nutty.
Attendees found that fact out once again Thursday, as the weird and wacky convention made its welcome return to the San Diego Convention Center. As you'll see in our gallery, there's just as much delightful strangeness outside the hall as in it.
