Robin Williams' work touched many lives. From his beginnings on the wildly successful Mork and Mindy television show through to classic comedy Mrs. Doubtfire, the respected comedian and actor has graced our screens for generations.
Williams died of an apparent suicide at his home. He was 63.
The comedian's longtime publicist said he had been been battling severe depression. "This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time," Mara Buxbaum wrote.
