Fozzie is dating a human, Topher Grace makes out with Miss Piggy, and Kermit is living in a "bacon-wrapped hell on Earth" -- welcome to the new, grown-up Muppets.
ABC has unveiled a First Look at its highly anticipated forthcoming series. Keep in mind that the actual footage isn't from the show, and was never actually meant to be seen outside of the halls of the network and studio. Instead, it's what the show's team screened for ABC in order to get the series an official green light. It's meant to act as a tone-setter of sorts.
Even so, the loud cries from Muppets fans -- some of whom saw the video last week at Comic-Con -- have been heard.
The series we'll see this fall will actually take place behind the scenes of Miss Piggy's talk show, Up Late With Miss Piggy, where Kermit is her executive producer. It'll also delve into the muppet's personal lives.
