Onion Review of 'Hunger Games' Declares Allegiance to Team Gale

The Hunger Games is the story of a dystopian government trying to crush the will of of the masses -- but who cares? There are plenty of controversial topics in the Hunger Games fandom, but none is more divisive than the teenage romantic dilemmas faced by Katniss.

The Onion reviewer Peter K. Rosenthal is among those who think that the contest between the oppressed and the oppressors doesn't compare to the contest between Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthorne for Katniss Everdeen's heart.

In this awesomely uncomfortable review, Rosenthal complains that, Peeta "isn't even that hot," and "could have been way cuter." Rosenthal's opinions may be controversial, but since this is the Internet, no one can really keep him from expressing them.
