YouTube for Artists, which the company rolled out in March and provides tools for artists to connect with their fans and expand their followings, unveiled Music Insights on Wednesday to show artists where in the world their music videos are getting the play.
The numbers are compiled using YouTube's ContentID, with numbers dating back to September 2014.
The tool currently provides numbers on more than 10,000 artists on YouTube and Google, according to a release. And the tool plans to regularly add new artists.
And some of today's biggest artists have the biggest fanbases countries away from their home bases.
Taylor Swift, Thailand
Beyonce, London
One Direction, United States
Kendrick Lamar, London
Hozier, London
Ellie Goulding, Thailand
Meghan Trainor, London

The new tool unfortunately doesn’t answer one longstanding question: is David Hasselhoff actually huge in Germany?
