Forget everything you know about experiencing the Internet on your computers, smartphones and tablets. "The Printed Internet" is taking the web offline.

The Printed Internet, created by blogger Daniel Kolitz, satirizes digital culture -- putting an absurdist twist on the types of articles, lists and think pieces that proliferate across the web.

"All [these] articles, regardless of subject or viewpoint, came to seem the same: one huge numbing wash of content to be blankly stared at," Kolitz told Mashable. "I just truly do not think human beings were meant to read 16 Breaking Bad recaps in a day. So The Printed Internet started as a way to, after-hours, play around with these familiar forms."

The twist with The Printed Internet's digital commentary is that everything is -- you guessed it -- printed. To create his posts, Kolitz prints out a website and then physically cuts and pastes in his own writing, giving his posts a crafty, DIY feel.
