It may not be because you didn't get enough sleep, but perhaps because you opted for a few extra minutes of it. ASAP Science explains that alarm clocks are really the enemy in the bedroom, because they disrupt your body's natural rhythms and attempts at rousing you awake.

But some of us don't have the luxury to wait for the sun to wake us (nor would our bosses appreciate it), so they explain which methods would help us catch more Zs with fewer snooze-button temptations.
