Heeeeere's cupcakes!

In the 35 years since it thoroughly creeped audiences out in theaters, Stanley Kubrick's The Shining has remained a staple for horror movie buffs, including photographer Davide Luciano and food stylist Claudia Ficca.

For their latest project, the duo paid tribute to the cult classic with an equally ghoulish, and yet delicious, homage of food photography called All Food and No Play.

"Kubrick has been a source of inspiration for me since my days as a film student. Claudia and I wanted to do something fun with food and film and so naturally the film The Shining came up," Luciano told Mashable.

Beginning with the Overlook Hotel's signature hedge maze, which they made out of snow peas, the pair recreated the film's most iconic moments including cupcake ghost girl twins and "redrum" alphabet soup.

Luciano and Ficca's work can be found on their websites, on Facebook and Instagram. The duo have collaborated on several different projects including Meals Interrupted and Gourmet Mouse Traps.
