From big pups to little pups, canine competitors are getting ready to race in the 33rd annual Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain Aviemore Sled Dog Rally. The sledders and their huskies practice at a forest course in Feshiebridge, Scotland, to prepare for the actual event in Loch Morlich near Aviemore. Every year since 1984, the snowy forests around Aviemore are covered in paw prints in anticipation of the biggest fixture in British sled dog racing.

On Jan. 23 and 24, more than 1000 sled dogs and 250 mushers -- the people who drive the sleds -- will participate in the race.
