A breakdancing Donald Trump. A hockey fight with a maple leaf-wearing Ted Cruz. And a robot Marco Rubio.

While that may sound like the latest GOP debate, it's actually all from "The Debateful Eight," a two-minute short from The Simpsons in which Marge, just like America, is haunted by actual sound clips of this cycle's candidates.

Homer tries to comfort her, telling her to imagine a world in which all of the candidates get along and respect one another but, much like the 2016 campaign in real life, the dream crashes and burns, devolving into a fever dream of chaos.

The short clip provides some pretty great moments that are true to The Simpsons' long history of clever takedowns.

Enjoy.
