Way back in 2000, a Donald Trump presidency was still a joke. Just ask The Simpsons.

In the Season 11 episode "Bart to the Future," future President Lisa Simpson and Secretary Van Houten -- or, rather, adult Milhouse -- discuss the debt crisis former President Trump left.

Fast forward fifteen years and it's no longer just a punchline: Donald Trump is actually running for President of the United States.

While we wouldn't necessarily call this a "prediction" -- Trump launched a presidential exploratory committee in 1999 -- The Simpsons writers were ahead of the curve on a potential Trump presidency.
