The Oscars selfie that broke Twitter? Apparently it diddily-do-didn't show the whole picture.

The ugly true story of that Oscar® selfie can finally be told! Let's break Twitter again. Look for Bart. pic.twitter.com/tdfr3Juhff— Homer J. Simpson (@HomerJSimpson) March 5, 2014

The original image has racked up more than 3.2 million retweets since Academy Awards host Ellen DeGeneres shared it during the show. The Simpsons-ized version of the Oscar selfie has roughly 3 million more retweets to go if it hopes to nab the Twitter record. D'oh!
