Holmes's topic of choice was "temporal illusions," a concept he explains that would create an illusion to change the past. Holmes later received a federal grant for his Ph.D. in neuroscience.

Holmes profile picture shows him with dyed orange-red hair -- a trait that many have associated with the Joker from Batman films. When Holmes was arrested he told Aurora police he was the "Joker."

The profile lists fairly common things like his favorite movies, including Star Wars, favorite book: Where's Waldo?, and this personal quote: "I spend a lot of time thinking about the future. Mind = blown."

The most frightening part of his profile was the quote, "Will you visit me in prison?," the same question Holmes asked on his adultfriendfinder.com profile, also recently discovered online.
