Jay Z is in a charitable state of mind.
The rap mogul and his streaming service Tidal are throwing Tidal X: 1020, a benefit concert featuring performances from Beyoncé, Prince, Usher, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj, among others -- not to mention Jay himself.
The event will be hosted in New York City's Barclays Center and streamed live at Tidal.com and HTC.com on Oct. 20. All proceeds from ticket sales will go toward New World Foundation to help charities with civil rights causes.
Additional performers include T.I. Damian Marley, Indochine, Thomas Rhett, DJ Cipha Sounds, DJ Reflex, Fabulous, Alessia Cara, Bas, Benjamin Booker, Flatbush Zombies and Justine Sky. The artists will perform onstage as soloists, duos and groups.
Tickets are on sale for Tidal members on Sept. 30 at 12 p.m. ET, with general tickets available for non-members starting Oct. 2 on Ticketmaster.
