PASADENA, California -- Fox's Rocky Horror Picture Show will not be Tim Curry-less.

The Emmy Award-winning actor, who played the original Dr. Frank-N-Furtuer in the iconic movie, will lend his voice to the new production as its criminologist narrator.

The two-hour television event -- said to be a "reimagining" of the cult movie -- will air this fall.

“I am very happy and excited to be a part of this new event,” said Curry in a statement.

Fox announced the project back in October, at which time the network also announced that Orange is the New Black fave Laverne Cox will star in the role originally made famous by Curry.

High School Musical boss Kenny Ortega is set to direct.
