With his signature celebratory meme, brief pro career and occasional ponytail, Tim Tebow can make an easy target for snark and sarcasm.
But you can't hate on this.

Lost amid the Messi magic, NBA All-Star game and other sports news over the long President's-slash-Valentine's Day weekend was a damn good deed performed by the former University of Florida and Denver Broncos quarterback. Tebow hosted a worldwide prom for people with special needs on Friday night.
Called "Night to Shine," the global prom attracted more than 30,000 people with special needs, according to the Tim Tebow Foundation. More than 70,000 volunteers facilitated the event, which took place at 200 churches spread across eight countries and 48 American states.
The sports world is full of stories that are depressing, disillusioning or downright offensive. This is not one of those stories, so let's celebrate it as such. The four-minute video embedded atop this post recaps the event, while below are several photos Tebow posted to Instagram from the big night.
