At this point, inviting Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to an awards show -- simply as guests and not as hosts -- is a daring move. Clearly, these besties and funny gals are going to steal the show from the actual winners and the real host.
They can't help it, they shine like diamonds in the sky.
Sunday night's 65th Primetime Emmys was no exception. The duo appeared on screen for probably a total of four game-changing minutes -- once as co-presenters, once during a sketch with host Neil Patrick Harris and once when Fey won the Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series for 30 Rock.
Thank you, Tina and Amy. Please always be seated front row, for any event ever -- including presidential inaugurations and little kids' ballet recitals.
