Hell hath no fury like a Tinder user scorned.
Users of the dating app were varying levels pissed off Monday when they discovered their matches had mysteriously vanished.
No note was left. No dear john texts were sent. There wasn't even a post-it. They were just ... gone.
Weeks and even months of carefully cultivated swipe-rights disappeared for some users, while others couldn't even log into the app and see their depressingly empty list of matches. With nowhere to turn, the disgruntled masses flocked to Twitter.

A Tinder spokesperson told Mashable that all matches would be restored once the tech problems were patched up. The spokesperson did not, however, say what caused the disappearance.

Fortunately for users, the app was up and running by Monday evening — just in time for some Netflix and chill. The outtage's dark hours were soon forgotten, and people resumed swiping to their hearts content.
