Tinder is testing out a new feature that lets you become a matchmaker for your friends, sharing profiles you come across with a temporary link.

If you’re a Tinder user, the dating app announced you might see a new icon that allows you to share a profile that you find when looking for potential matches. The share button gives you a link of the profile that you can share via text, allowing the recipient to swipe left or right on that profile.

The interesting thing about this new feature is that the shareable link is temporary, so if you post the link to social media or somewhere else where a lot of people could view it, it will disappear after five clicks or 72 hours, whichever comes first.

When someone shares a profile with you and you decide to swipe right for a match, your profile will appear in the other user’s recommendations if you line up with their preferences.

For users that don’t want their profiles shared, they can turn that feature off for their profile under Discovery Settings.
