Those looking to find out a little more information about candidates this election season may be able to find help from an unexpected source: Tinder.

The company announced a new feature that will help users learn more about issues and the candidates who support them.

The feature will take the form of new video cards, which will appear when swiping through the app. Each card will show a different issue and additional information about it and users swipe left or right based on whether they agree or disagree.

Once they've gotten through all the cards, Tinder will show which candidate is most aligned with their views. The company is also partnering with Rock the Vote so users can find links to register to vote from within the app.

The company says the feature was inspired by users who were using the app to share their political views with matches. One eager Bernie Sanders supporter was banned from the app after messaging hundreds of men about the presidential candidate's campaign. (Rubio's supporters were also active on the app.)

Tinder's not the only dating app to embrace politics. Bumble, the dating app created by former Tinder execs, recently launched a feature that allows users to overlay political-themed filters onto their profile pics.
