Weighing in at 30 pounds, Tiny is one fat cat. The heavyweight was dropped off at New Brunswick's Fredericton SPCA in late 2011, where the staff quickly decided that he needed a diet plan—and a Facebook page.
Tiny's Weight Loss Challenge chronicles Tiny's mission to drop a few pounds. According to the diary, the cat's main eating issue was portion control, a problem that many of us can sympathize with.
As such, Tiny adopted an Atkin's-inspired diet and garnered support from his Facebook fans, much like humans do when they're trying to get back in shape.
We are happy to report that after a weekly weigh-in, Tiny has lost 10 pounds since December 2011. His new physique has given him the confidence to model tiny ties and bowties. As cat people, we are thankful.
