It's Halloween, which means it's a perfect time to suit up as your favorite Peanuts character -- not only for the weekend's costumed festivities, but in honor of 20th Century Fox's upcoming Peanuts Movie.

Peanuts has touched audience's hearts since the 1950s, and the anchors of NBC's Today decided to show their love by dressing up and enacting scenes based on the upcoming movie. The results were... mixed.

Willie Geist opens as Schroeder, playing Beethoven on a comically miniature piano, followed by Natalie Morales and Tamron Hall as Marcie and Peppermint Patty, respectively. We then cut to the school dance, where Sally's (Savannah Guthrie) love for Linus (Carson Daly) is overshadowed by the disturbing revelation of what Linus's hair would look like in real life.

Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford steal the show in a surrealist adventure between Snoopy and Woodstock, with Al Roker bringing it home as Charlie Brown to a surprisingly convincing Matt Lauer as Lucy. As for Meredith Vieira -- well, you'll just have to watch the video for yourself.
